1.
Come with me to the burned cedar tree and I will show you Death and in this skeletal happiness we will play music in the dark When everything is blue new thoughts will come to you and love will never ever end. Standing on the blue bridge the trees go on forever the illusion is kept by a girl with a map i'll share it with you but you must promise to respect "love as the practice of freedom" (bell hooks) the goonies NEVER SAY DIE but i say EVERYTHING WILL DIE cause death cuts through all of this nonsense of money, jealousy, and greed so take my hand before I am soil again before my body becomes energy and my body is energy and your body is energy and we are energy
2.
lets go back to the water swim where we can't stand lets go back to the cold cold water swim where I can't stand listen to the weather rain here and dust over there chemicals change the weather industrial fuel for fear sitting here numb with fear but Ariel said lets redraw this map you have in your head of your potential cause if you can't you can't you can't but if you can you can you can and if summer is a myth I believe in it! sunshine fueled resistance! we don't need electricity! we need to move our hearts, our minds our bodies!

secret city 01:40
take me to the radio tower where we can both feel our power listen close to the midnight hour sadness speaks to our desire blinking lights see them winking at nearby mountains see me sinking into a sky of endless gray will I go outside today? falling from the darknest night I need my rest to keep fighting shooting start that shines so bright! i'll do my best to keep trying to live for today and not for tomorrow isolation brings more sorrow never forget you do have friends never forget this isn't the end take me to the radio tower where we can both feel our power listen close to the midnight hour sadness speaks to our desires
4.
last night I was walking on the streets of this town hoping just to find something to fill my hands, my mind, my heart with fifteen windows with the lights on noone waiting, noone at home concrete boxes filled with daisies this is not what i can call home so feed me from your open dumpsters wasteful system i will plunder meet me at the park at midnight from there we will plan our flight from these four square intersections from the city streets at night we will wander through the corn maze you'll take left and i'll take right sitting in a land of plenty built by hand and pesticides hold my hand squeeze it tight and like the mountains we will rise like the mountains we will rise
5.
what does your resistance look like? what does your resistance feel like? make believe what is real make believe dreams you feel if you wait for tomorrow all you have is yesterday i imagine there's a way out or at least a way to change all that's overwhelming in our day to day embrace
